MacOS Sequoia - Connecting to an External Display

When connecting your Mac to an external display, you will be asked to choose what you’d like to share to the connected display. Examples of an external display include a Smart Board, Epson projector, Apple TV or computer monitor.
You will see the screen shown at right the first time you connect to a new display.
You can check the box to "Set as Default" if you'd like your computer to remember your choice before clicking on "Start Mirroring"

If you go to the Apple menu in the upper left corner of your screen, then click on Displays, you can access more options or change the setting you've chosen shown in the previous step.
