Mosyle iPad Enrollment (from Hello Screen)
iPad Mosyle Enrollment
*Some iPads are already enrolled into our new iPad management system (Moysle). If your device already has the Wayzata Public Schools background image and Mosyle play button
on the home screen or taskbar, you can skip to step 2 below.
Step 1: iPad Enrollment into Mosyle

Power on the school issued iPad
- If the device will not power on, plug it in to charge for an hour or so before trying again.

Tap the home button when the ‘Hello’ screen appears

Select your language from the language selection screen

Select “United States “as your country on the country selection screen.

Tap the ‘Set Up Manually’ link at the bottom of the Quick Start page if it appears
- You may or may not see this screen, it is OK if it does not appear during this stage.

Select your “WiFi network” from the list of available networks and enter the password if prompted
- If you are at school, select ‘enrollment’ from the WiFi selection list.

You will see a screen letting you know that it will take a few minutes to set up your iPad.
- The iPad will automatically advance after a few minutes

Tap ‘Next’ in the top right corner on the Remote Management Screen

You will be prompted to “enable location services”,
- After several minutes, your device will load an application on the dock called Mosyle Manager, or Manager Applications may appear and disappear during this stage, that is normal.
- You should now see the Mosyle Play button
on the home screen and/or dock
Step 2: Signing In
To begin this part of the process, you must have completed Steps 1 and 2 listed above.

From the home screen, tap on the Mosyle Manager app “play button image”
on the dock.
- When prompted, “Manager Would Like to Use Bluetooth” tap ”OK”
- When prompted, “Manager Would Like to Send You Notifications” tap “Allow”
- When prompted, “Allow Mosyle Manager to Access your location?” tap ”OK”
- You will be prompted a second time, “Allow Manager to use your location?” tap “Allow While Using App”
- Enter your district email address on the Microsoft sign in screen that appears
- Enter your district password on the next screen
- Tap the “Sign in” button


- If you are on the Enrollment Network, open the Settings app, and Connect to the WPS WiFi if you are in the building.
- You will not be able to sign in to Google applications and services if you are on the Enrollment WiFi Network.
- You will get a Cannot Verify Server Identity message until you change your WiFi connection to WPS.
- You will prompted with a Passcode Requirement message
- You will have 60 minutes to set this passcode. You need to set something you will remember. This will help keep your iPad and data secure.
- You may get an App Update message “sch-22467.school.mosyle.io” is about to update the app “Mosyle Manager MDM for Schools” from the app store.
- You can hit cancel during setup, but this message will continue to popup until you tap “Update”.
- Now you can reopen the Mosyle Manager app
and select apps to install from Self Service.
- Your iPad will automatically install several default applications.
You may now begin using your iPad.
