Automatically Installed Apps
Some core apps are automatically pushed to all student iPads. These apps include but are not limited to the following:
Installing Additional Apps
If you have a need for an app, please go through your classroom teacher or case manager to have the app requested.
iOS Update Policy
In order to keep your iPad secure and functional, you are responsible for keeping it updated. District communications will be sent throughout the school year when an iOS update is required. If your iPad does not meet the iOS version requirements described in those communications by the date specified, it will be placed into a strict LOCKED DOWN mode until the update is complete.
Notability: Turn On Auto-Backup!
Tap Notability app on the home screen.
Tap the Gear icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Tap Auto-Backup.
Tap Google Drive.
Log in with your district email credentials.
Tap Allow.
Tap Close.
Purchase Insurance (Optional)
Important: Insurance is only available to 6th-12th grade students.
Tap the iPad Insurance web clip on the home screen.
Tap on Enroll now.
Enter required personal information.
Check the box for accepting the terms and conditions.
Tap Pay to complete insurance purchase.
