Staff iPad:


WPS wifi on your staff iPad will continue to work after a password change. No changes needed.


Updating Gmail password on staff iPad:

  1. Launch the Gmail app and enter your wayzataschools.org email address and your new password
    • If you use the built in "Mail" app, navigate to settings > mail > accounts > gmail. There will be a blue "Re-enter Password" button if the app needs you to update your credentials.


iPhone:


Reconnecting to WPS wifi:

  1. Tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi"
  3. Tap the blue "i" icon to the right of "WPS"
  4. Tap "Forget This Network" then tap "Forget"
  5. Tap "Wi-Fi" near the top center of the screen
  6. Tap "WPS"
  7. Enter your district Username and your new Password
  8. Tap "Join" then tap "Trust"

Updating Gmail Password on iPhone:

  1. Launch the Gmail app and enter your wayzataschools.org email address and your new password


Android devices:


Since Android devices differ by make/model, it's hard to give specific instructions for each device but the general workflow is as follows:

  1. Open the "Settings" app
  2. Tap "WiFi"
  3. Tap and hold on "WPS"
  4. Tap "Edit"
  5. Change your password
  6. Hit "Save"
  7. Launch the Gmail app and enter your wayzataschools.org email address and your new password

Updating Gmail password on Android:

  1. Launch the Gmail app and enter your wayzataschools.org email address and your new password
  2. If step 1 doesn't work, go to "Settings"
  3. Open "Accounts"
  4. Look for Gmail or your wayzataschools.org email and select it
  5. Type in your new password in the prompt
