Blue light filters can be enabled to help reduce eye strain in low-light environments. Instructions for enabling these filters on different platforms can be found below.



iOS

  • Navigate to Settings > Display & Brightness
  • Select "Night Shift"
  • Check the radio button to either enable night shift on a schedule or manually. The slider can be used to adjust the strength of the light filter.


Mac

  • Open System Preferences
  • Select "Displays"
  • Select "Night Shift"
  • Using the options provided here, you can either enable night shift on a schedule or manually. The slider can be used to adjust the strength of the light filter.


PC

  • In the start menu, search for "Night Light"
  • Using the options provided here, you can either enable night light on a schedule or manually. The slider can be used to adjust the strength of the light filter.


*The option is only available on some systems and may not be present if not supported



Note: Light filtering options found in these application generally only applies to the built in screen, it will not affect the color of an external monitor.
