General Troubleshooting

  • First always make sure you have the most current up to date software on your computer.
    • Typically your computer keeps itself up to date but you can search for application updates by opening the Self Service application (Mac) or Software Center (PC).
    • Other software updates for your computer can be checked for in the settings on your computer but it's best to check with tech staff before you proceed with some of these updates.
  • After getting the current software on your computer as well as for the application you're trying to use, test and see if you still notice the same behavior or error.
  • Check all your physical connections to make sure they are snug from the Smart Board to your computer.
