1 From the Home Screen, tap Google Photos. (If you don't have Google Photos installed, use Self Service to do so.)
2 Tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
3 Tap Settings from the drop down menu.
4 Tap Back up & sync.
5 Tap the Switch icon located to the right of Back up & sync to turn it on.
6 You should now see a screen similar to this. Your photos will now be backed up to Google.

Now anytime you take a photo on your iPad, it will be backed up to Google.
7 To see that status of your backup, go back to the main Google Photos screen and tap the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
8 You will see a status of your backup on this page.
9 To verify your backup was successful, open a browser and navigate to photos.google.com to confirm your photos are there.
