1 | From the home screen, tap Google Photos. (If you don't have Google Photos installed, use the Self Service app on your iPad to install it.) | |
2 | If you are prompted to sign into a Google account in the Google Photos app, follow the steps below:
You should be redirected back to the Google Photos app and now be signed into your school Google account. |

2 | Tap the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen. | |
3 | Tap Google Photos settings from the drop down menu. | |
4 | Tap Back up & sync. | |
5 | Tap the Switch icon located to the right of Back up & sync to turn it on. | |
6 | You should now see a screen similar to this and your photos will now be backed up to Google. | |
7 | To see that status of your backup, go back to the main Google Photos screen and tap the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen. | |
8 | You will see a status of your backup on this page. | |
9 | To verify your backup was successful, open a browser and navigate to photos.google.com to confirm your photos are there. |
