|1||From the Home Screen, tap Google Photos. (If you don't have Google Photos installed, use Self Service to do so.)|
|2||Tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner of the screen.|
|3||Tap Settings from the drop down menu.|
|4||Tap Back up & sync.|
|5||Tap the Switch icon located to the right of Back up & sync to turn it on.|
|6||You should now see a screen similar to this. Your photos will now be backed up to Google.
Now anytime you take a photo on your iPad, it will be backed up to Google.
|7||To see that status of your backup, go back to the main Google Photos screen and tap the Profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen.|
|8||You will see a status of your backup on this page.|
|9||To verify your backup was successful, open a browser and navigate to photos.google.com to confirm your photos are there.|
