Restarting Your Computer - How Often?

Restart Your Computer Every Day or Every Other Day

The more you use your computer, the more applications will be running, from cached copies of attachments to ad blockers in the background. Those things just have to be reset at some point so they’re not always running.

Computers that go without reboots for extended periods are prone to an assortment of weird bugs and glitches. These annoyances include programs running at a slower pace than usual, unexpected system freeze-ups, and more. Rebooting your computer will prevent the system's hardware from becoming overloaded and provide them with sufficient time to recharge.
