Problem #1: You can't access your voicemail with Jabber.


Reason:

  1. Voicemail account is not linked to LDAP.


Resolutions:


Problem #2: You get the error: "Unable to automatically detect server settings"


Reason:

  1. AD account does not have a phone number set.
  2. Call Manager does not have proper permissions set.


Resolution:

  • Create a helpdesk ticket.

Problem #3: You get the error: "Unable to connect to server."


Reason: 

  • You are on the district network, and you are connected to WPS incorrectly.
  • You are not connected to the internet.


Resolution:

  • Create a helpdesk ticket.

Problem #4: Others are unable to hear me.


Reason:

  • Microphone Privacy settings may disallow microphone access. (Windows)
  • Your Mic boost may be too low. (Windows)


Resolution:

  • Verify Microphone Privacy settings allow for microphone use. (Windows)
  • Increase your Mic boost settings. (Windows)
