Do you sometimes download files, applications, etc from your web browser and then forget where it was saved? This article is to help you locate your files, applications, etc. on your Macintosh HD (Hard Drive).
Step 1: Open "Finder" this is located on your dock with this icon -->
OR you can also access "Finder" by looking at the top bar on your desktop and click "File" and then select "New Finder Window"
Step 2: In the Finder window type the name of the file or application you are looking for in the upper right hand corner of the Finder window.
Step 3: When your file appears, right click (clicking or tapping with 2 fingers) to bring up a menu and select "Get Info"
Step 4: Information about the file or app will load showing where the file or app is located on your computer.
