If you are having issues with your Google Chrome Web Browser it could be due to an extension you might not have realized you downloaded. This article will show you how to check the extensions you have and how to delete the unwanted extensions.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome
Step 2: Click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of the web browser. This will open the extended menu.
Step 3: Select "Settings"
Step 4: When the settings page opens, select "Extensions" on the left hand side.
Step 5: A list of your extensions will show up on a new tab. Each individual extension will show the name, description of the extension, and 3 options below the description (details, remove, and an on/off toggle).
-To completely remove the extension select "remove."
-If you want to keep the extension but don't want it to be active, select the toggle (blue = on, grey = off)
Step 6: Once you have customized the extensions to your preference, completely close/quit Google Chrome and restart the web browser.
