Information on how to purchase iPad insurance when purchasing outside the enrollment window in August/September.


Parent/Guardian and/or student will need to bring the iPad to the Tech Support person in the Media Center of the building the student attends.


  1. The Tech Support person will examine the iPad to ensure there is no pre-existing damage to the iPad.
    • If your student is a distance learning student contact the district tech office to schedule an appointment for the district tech staff to evaluate the iPad to ensure there is no pre-existing damage to the iPad.
  2. If the iPad is damaged, the iPad will need to be repaired prior to purchasing insurance - insurance does not cover pre-existing damage. (Proof of repair will need to be provided to continue with insurance registration.)
  3. When the iPad is eligible for insurance, Tech Support will provide contact information for Safeware, along with a registration form.
  4. The Parent/Guardian will need to contact Safeware to get a prorated quote for insurance coverage for the remainder of the policy term.
  5. Once quote is obtained, fill out the registration form.
  6. Mail registration form and a check made out to Safeware, to:
